We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to support our PMG Application Development team. The Opportunity:

The Technical Business Analyst will design, maintain, and implement projects and process improvements. You will be responsible for requirement gathering and process documentation on user engagements. You will analyze and document requirements for Portfolio Management processes and map them to the suite of applications used by the Business. You will report to the Application Development Team Lead.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Create logic, flow charts, and process diagrams
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle
  • Identify ways to streamline processes by recommending items for automation, re-structuring, or elimination
  • Elicits business requirements
  • Provide application support
  • Utilize design skills to define Technical Design Specifications for complex and high impact projects
  • Research external software solutions
  • Provide business recommendations based on critical application and data analysis
  • Maintain a high-level of accuracy while managing multiple requests with varying complexities and due dates

Your Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Portfolio Management processes
  • Familiarity with Agile and Jira
  • Familiarity with writing and promoting accurate documentation in Confluence
  • Basic SQL querying skills
  • Highly developed qualitative and quantitative skills required
  • Experience analyzing various situations and developing creative solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience adapting to changes in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Compensation:

  • $85,000 to $130,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
