We are looking for a Network Operations Associate to support our Network Engineering team. The Opportunity:

As a Network Operations Associate, you will report to the Network Engineering Team Lead to assist with the daily administration of a network/server environment. You will support the daily operations and monitoring of our global network by performing testing to provide diagnoses of issues and to help deploy solutions. You will perform routine updates and maintenance tasks, and will track the parts inventory and maintenance of documentation.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Automate manual tasks through scripting
  • Gather troubleshooting information through packet captures
  • Perform collaborative troubleshooting by reviewing packet captures and system logs
  • Identify elevations and routes appropriately
  • Identify, create and develop documentation for group for things like topology or network flows
  • Responsible for properly handling confidential documents

Your Qualifications:

  • Proficient in scripting and automation solutions such as Ansible, Python or PowerShell
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced, team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience
