We are looking for candidates who embody flexibility, a will-do spirit, and a desire to learn and develop their skills. If you are interested in professional growth through responsibility, training, and support, Fisher may be the right place for you!

Our entry-level sales, service, and operations roles are great opportunities for recent college graduates and anyone who wants to join a purpose-driven business and take on new responsibilities. Although these may vary based on position, below are five general steps to get ready for your Fisher career if you are applying for an Associate or entry-level role.

Step 1: Introduce Yourself

Take time to learn about the company. Review Fisher Investments’ careers site, explore career fairs, college job boards, or our company profile on LinkedIn. Once you browse our opportunities and submit your resume, it will be reviewed by our recruiters, who seek great candidates for a variety of roles.Tip: Make sure your resume is properly formatted and has been thoroughly proofread. Highlight your interest in working at Fisher Investments and showcase your skills!

Step 2: Find Your Fisher Fit

If you have the opportunity to speak with one of our recruiters during a 30-minute phone interview, be prepared to discuss your background, skills, and strengths. Share what motivates you, your career goals and interests, examples of your successes, and some challenges you have faced. Our recruiters are trained to help you explore your options and find the best fit—they will discuss open roles at the firm and which of those might best align with your career aspirations. For entry-level candidates, the key areas we hire for are business development, client service, operations, and analytics.

Step 3: Fill Out the Application

As you progress through the interview process, you may receive a formal Fisher Investments employment application via email, which you can submit online. This covers your education, work experience, and residency information. This data helps us better understand the skills and experience you might bring to Fisher.

Step 4: Prepare for a Video Interview

After the employment application is completed, you will interview with a hiring manager from one of our offices in Washington, California, Texas, or Florida. This is a chance to learn more about the day-to-day responsibilities of the role and group, ask questions about company culture, and inquire what it is like to work and live in the area. Depending on the role and group you are applying for, you may have additional interviews.

Step 5: Start Your Fisher Career

Congratulations! If you successfully proceed through the interview process, the final step is your job offer. It’s time to start your Fisher career, knowing you’ll be joining a firm with meaningful benefits, authentic recognition, and award-winning employee training programs, designed to help you succeed as you build a lifelong Fisher career.
